Poppy Seed Chicken
By: Peggy Friesen - 4 c. cooked chicken
- 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 c. sour cream
- Chives or 2-3 green onions, sliced
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 T. poppy seeds
- 1 1/2 c. crushed Ritz crackers
Put cooked chicken in a 9 x 11 inch casserole dish. Mix soup, sour cream, spices, and mushrooms in a bowl and pour over chicken. Melt butter and mix with crackers and poppy seeds. Spread evenly on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
