- 1/2 C.shortening
- 1 C sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 C. AppleSauce
- 2 C. shifted flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 3/4 C. Walnuts
Cream together shortening and sugar.add egg and beat well.add Applesauce,sift dry ingredients together,add walnuts.place in greased 8 inch pan and bake at 350 f. for 50 -60 min |
