Favorite Recipe
Cornbread Dressing

- 5 cups cornbread crumbs, dried 2 tsp. salt
- 4 cups biscuit crumbs, dried 1 stick butter
- 4 cups chicken broth 1 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tbs. poultry seasoning 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 tbs. sage
Soften 1/2 of biscuit crumbs in 2 cups broth. Add cornbread and rest of biscuit crumbs in large mixing bowl. Add seasonings and mix well. Saute onion and celery for 3-4 minutes in butter and add to dressing. Add enough broth to moisten well. Put in pan and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour. |
